The Bilingual HR Assistant provides a wide range of human resource functions. This individual will work on filing, scheduling, coordinating, direct mailings, and special projects. They will also answer non-routine correspondence and assemble confidential and sensitive information. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload and to recommend changes in office practices or procedures. This individual will work from our Sheffield, Iowa location.
Essential Job Requirements:
Must be fluently bilingual in English and Spanish, A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, industry knowledge, professionalism, and the ability to multi-task. This employee will work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Overtime hours and some Saturdays may be required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
- Translation of multiple department collateral, including but not limited to: manuals, brochures, HR Handbook, etc.
- Assist with translation during interviews, orientation, employee meetings etc.
- Assist with work comp process (mail letters out, file and organize)
- Set up interviews for open positions
- Track all NIACC courses and training
- Assist with full time employee benefits process
- Assist with attendance
- Other duties as assigned
