Charles Sukup named Engineer of Year by Iowa ASABE
SHEFFIELD, Iowa – Charles Sukup, president of Sukup Manufacturing Co., was named Engineer of the Year by the Iowa chapter of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.
Each year, the Iowa Section of ASABE recognizes members who have made significant contributions to the society and the profession. The award to Sukup recognized his many contributions including service on the board and as president (2006-07) of the national organization.
Sukup said he was pleasantly surprised and very honored to receive the award, which was presented in April at the Iowa ASABE chapter’s meeting in Fort Dodge.
Sukup is a registered professional engineer and has been president of the family-owned Sukup Manufacturing since 1995.
